The seminar topics will be MRI-based biomarkers of learning in school-age children and adolescents. The talks will be given by Arnaud CACHIA (45 min). It will be followed by a short presentation (15 min ) by Catherine Oppenheim and a discussion session. For more information, please refer to the attached abstract.

Inhibitory control, the ability to overcome cognitive conflicts and inhibit a dominant response, plays a critical role in academic success. I will present a recent multimodal MRI study showing functional, anatomical and connectivity changes following inhibitory control training in children and adolescents. Such findings suggest that brain MRI data can provide relevant biomarkers to predict and monitor the efficacy of innovative pedagogical interventions.
